Since we’re just going by a single article (at least I am) it’s anyone’s guess, almost. However when I read this:
“...Don’t be the stinky student in class...”
“...The blame for that has frequently been put on the shoulders of women and minorities rather than CEOs and managers who won’t expand their circle of acceptable hires...”
Yeah, after one of the other replies I read other articles and see that the author of this article misquoted Paladino, making what he apparently said much less controversial; seems like a strange thing to do given the whole reason for the article.
Perhaps - I don’t know the guy nor even OF the guy so can’t comment on his inherent racism (or lack thereof). But this article is about a couple things the guy said and, frankly, those things are NOT racist - yes, they’re really not nice things to say and, w.r.t. Mrs. Obama, are rather in-your-face sexist, but that…
Though it is good he has been asked to resign with the suggestion he would be fired if he does not, the words he used are not racist.
Then, having set up a respectable home bar, you’ve got a great excuse to knock back a couple highballs per night!
“Almost as important - defensive driving (situational awareness)...”
Awhile back - like...er...50-ish years ago - I attended the first year a new high school opened. Since it was brand-new it needed a school mascot so a naming contest was held.
I typically just pop whatever falls on the floor up into my mouth, figuring any germs that have newly arrived will either be an extra (albeit minimal) nutritional source or a potential boost (albeit minimal) to my immune system.
No one involved in this said the person was fired - just a bunch of Me-Too Media sources repeating each other used that term because they ALL want to suggest the woman was punished for her racist statement(s).
From what little I’ve read about the Jolie/Pitt fun, Ms. Jolie seems to have fallen off the deep end.
“...Apparently, NO ONE looks 40, because we all look 32...”
“Pretty sure Melania sold her soul, and her dignity, in the devil’s bargain of marriage to Drumpf.”
Probably one of the doors off the kitchen - also probably no need to model it because nothing that’s there can be moved and nothing new is going to be put there.
I would think VR or pseudo-VR would have worked - all items are already modeled so “simply” render them and “walk through”.
Probably the same thing as British and electrics.
One of the major gotchas in the Internet Of Things is device security.
I think you’re missing something fundamental with all the posts you have replied to because they completely show the cost-effectiveness of changing to LEDs from, say, incandescent lighting (the calculator link I posted very very clearly shows that - in the default case (that can be changed) the savings was, like,…
“...I save $11 a year for 3 LED bulbs and spend at least $14 a year to buy replacements. How is my net loss of $3 saving me any money...”
