Well, unfortunately this just goes to show why they were so afraid of background checks and thorough review of their own employees, if 11% of the drivers in Massachusetts had serious offenses, you can only imagine throughout the nation the dirt that would be uncovered with simple background checks. It’s just sad to…
I don’t know if anyone’s ever wrenched on a 2V 5.4 Triton, but Ford missed the mark on maintenance with those completely. The engine sits about a foot into the firewall, so the back four spark plugs are basically impossible to reach. On top of that, the fuel rail sits right above all spark plugs on either side,…
The missus picked up an ‘09 Scion tC for 4 large. It’s got a manual trans, 161HP and all the sporty fixin’s, along with a dual sunroof and a pioneer system. Still has the Toyota reliability. With a last-gen Celica you’re not getting a whole lot more, especially with the horrid looks. Let’s face it, they ruined the…
I hope they’ll at least take the time to sand down those ridges, seems like it’d be more work refining those pieces than it would be for fiberglass.
I uh, I think this guy on Car and Driver’s got it. Math wizards are pretty credible sources.
Huh, that’s about what happened when my buddy’s Dodge Dart jammed itself into reverse while he was rolling down the highway at 75 miles an hour. Except there was a lot more fury, and fish tailing, and shatted bricks. I guess in a front wheel drive car it’d be a lot different because of the lack of traction due to the…
Be sure to send me an email when you guys start writing about real car news again! If I wanted to hear anymore of this, I can easily go and open Facebook.
Speak for yourself on that one. Id rather come out of a 35MPH crash with my legs intact. All of Dodge’s 2015 vehicle lineup have come out with marginal overall evaluations and a lot of legless, concussioned dummies. Those poor guys don’t get paid enough.
I had a buddy who was driving his Dart down the highway (Rally Edition, turbo, premium features) when it decided to shift itself into reverse and come to a screaming halt, while breaking drivetrain components in the process. No wonder you see so many of them on the road!
They could try making their vehicles practical for road use instead of dumping all their money into +HP numbers and special edition packages. I, personally, am terrified getting into FCA-produced vehicles. Have you SEEN their crash safety test ratings? Disclaimer: if you own one, don’t look.
I feel like everybody commenting is completely forgetting the fact that Ford has been on quite an impressive streak of badassery in the last decade. The Focus RS/ST, Fiesta ST, Raptor, new gen Powerstroke w/ 1,000lb/ft, the GT350/R, etc. They’ve proven themselves as a company who dedicates their design to the people.…
