Did you look at the menu provided in that other comment thread? It ranged from adult options at fast food places + desert to things you would find at the cheesecake factory + desert.

Kids aren’t the ones making the purchasing decisions, so they aren’t competing on taste at all. Nor are they particularly competing on the basis of cheapness since poor children are on free and reduced lunches paid for by the school system. Most of their money comes from block payments.

Yep that is how you get change in a company. You get rid of all their competitors and give them a group of clients that can do nothing but depend on them and hope that having the new sense of responsibility of knowing that they can do anything they want and nobody has any choice will propel them to improve things.

Well sure.  Except for the fact that the school lunches at that district are less healthy than fast food.  Someone posted a menu elsewhere in the comics.  It makes McDonalds look like Chipotle and Chipotle look like making a meal completely out of food you’ve grown in backyard.

Somehow none of the 7 movie theatres near are AMC. Also sadly the movie theater I used the most is an arthouse theatre noone supports now that movie pass is doing two movies a day only.

Probably? Life can be sadder than that though. There was one girl in an area i used to work in. She was abused. She would often run from him, ask other people for help then once she made up with her boyfriend they’d both get mad at the person that would help. Sometime she’d help get the person jumped later.
