$kay, looks to me like she is pissed her sister got the better fitting pants and a top

We don’t exactly know what she tried, but there’s someone else taking the picture, so she’s got some help. It’s a learning process, and she’s in it. Good on her.

Sadly these aren’t my photos and I wish I got a chance to talk to the owner, John Dixon, before he passed away. There are a few more pics of it online and a little article over at flatsixes (Along with a really cool 356 Delivery Van). It resides in the Taj Ma Garaj which is/was Dixon’s museum/party pad with all kinds

I think I might have gone for something even closer related to the Beetle.

Having grown up in the back seat of and, indeed, learning to drive in the front seat of a SAAB 96, that rear engine cover looks a LOT like the trunk lid of the old Swede.

The Czechs did it better

There was a factory built 4 (3?) door in limited numbers in the 60's as a Limo/Taxi for the German market.

All that buttery black paint certainly helps.

They built one in 1967...

It’s a rear-engined car… without a rear. I’m going to need a minute.

I was just thinking the other day that if VW wants to go heavy on electrification that they should take the beetle platform and do it.

As an owner of the current model Beetle, I LOVE this idea.

I’ve seen a few modified Beetle’s and visual concepts of what this would be in a modern-day version and although I’m sure VW will never make it, the idea is awesome.

Peugeot 505 Break ‘Dangel’ 4x4

My first car was a 1986 505STI that I inherited in 1994. Of course it was silver, since they almost all were.

Soon it will be the weekend and you can get out there and drive like a champion in your Peugeot 505!
