I bought a round version of that same crap bin light. One night while wrenching on my motorcycle, I stuck the light’s magnetic back to the zipper on my biker jacket for hands free illumination. My neighbor drove up with a car full of guys and said “I told y’all, Tony Stark lives in my apartments!”.

+1 on a fantastic mod!! I love stuff that adds functionality but appears OEM! That’s awesome!!

Interior dome lights are definitely taken for granted. I never thought much of them until I got my Austin Healey Sprite and realized how dark the interior was at night. Eventually I figured out how to turn on the gauge lights (hidden factory switch under the steering column) and converted the gauge lights to LEDs.

My 71 K5 Blazer shifter was nothing but a light bulbs with the metal end carefully cut off that was then used as a mold for light blue resin poured in.

Bullshit that’s amazing! I’d have never known that wasn’t stock. Fantastic work!

I love this! Cheap/rigged mods are my favorite and fill me with the most pride. It also works for new cars too if you’re brave enough!

I did a similar thing with my 17 year old BMW 540i touring, except on a slightly more expensive scale. That instantly gave my car an in-dash CD

I have been wanting to keep a sturdy indestructible flat surface in the back of my Burrego that can serve a variety of purposes

Oh, no not that Karen. KAREN Karen. You know the one I mean.

I guess you won’t be invited to Tom and Karen’s block party this year.

The engine was moved 18" forward and spun around 180 degrees. It is also tilted slightly upwards a few degrees. The car as we saw in the race this weekend was incredible in the rain. But... many insiders are furious that they were not given enough development money to holomgate a twin turbo development based upon the

In a box somewheres with all the other paper pics maybe-this is all I have scanned. I was hamming it up with how small the car was. (Got another shot of me in crusin’ mode with arm out the window—on both sides!)

Ok-it must be a thing now. I guess I was ahead of the curve. This was me in 1992 in Hungary. Within 30 seconds of a conversation of a very cute Hungarian girl with limited english skills, I was driving it around the city of Gyor. Foot to the floor-hammer shifting as fast as I can. I had those 2 cylinders workin’!
