I agree 100%.

The races are up for viewing on F:E’s YouTube channel the day after the race. Short summaries are shown on embrace day itself.

I really kind of enjoyed that, too. You can hear more of what’s going on with the car than just ENGINE NOISES!!!, and while I love some engine noises, it’s also kind of nice to be able to talk to people around me without raising my voice.

I was there. Only downside: not many prototypes as the two past editions.
Other than that: the Tatra and the unrestored Maserati were incredible, as well as a 110 years old Lancia. But the Talbot-Lago “dressed” by Figoni et Falaschi (among the cars going up for auction) was literally the most gorgeous thing on four

Finally, some jeep things I can understand.

MB (and most German public services) disagrees with you:

You could get dually conversions from the aftermarket. They had them for the front, too, though those are much rarer. Helpful on soft ground.

Just in case you wanted some studio shots:

I am salivating over that Forward Control firetruck!

Here’s a fun and true story. After the war a lot of Jeeps were fitted with conveyor belts to load baggage onto commercial aircraft. While they mostly did the job, they were very unstable and often tipped over. My grandfather actually solved this problem by designing the first purpose-built belt loader for aircraft

Among the thousands of little out of the way gatherings across the country, there are some definite standouts. Most people never hear about them, but when you attend them, you’ll be exposed to a world of wonder and fascination.

The answer is not Miata, the answer IS Willy Jeep.
