I’m just going to say it: I always enjoy vintage racing far more than modern. The racing is often tighter and harder fought and frankly I think the cars look miles better than moderns.
2014! I was there! Between Tabac corner and the Piscine complex. Definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen (even moreso heard - mmmmmm, I’ve had dreams about that noise), they raced all sorts of vintage GP cars, GT cars, the like.
“Many diehards decry the complex emissions components and the electronic fuel injection system, as they both do a number on tune-ability. Regardless, the 6.7-liter Cummins, and frankly any truck with a big chrome “C” on the fender, gets tons of respect from diehard diesel enthusiasts around the world.”

This “Chevy Cavalier” formerly of the Whelen Modifieds series clowned pretty much every Porsche GT(X), Ferrari and track toy out at that particular Waktins Glen event. Sounds fantastic and he saves $ by getting pre scrubbed (used) tires from Trans Am teams.
Did all of you somehow miss that this is a freaking Monty Python reference? Kids these days.
This is how I celebrated 200k with my Passat. Also, yes I ate the cupcake afterwards.
...eeeeven better is buying a used plug in hybrid. They had government subsidies to buy them new, so they depreciated on the used market super duper fast. The Prius plug in Hybrids can sell for less than their non plug in cousins with lower mileage, if you look hard enough. They also have better MPG when you plug them…
I bet you could. It’s just a bump stop.
Sometimes, you find out some fact, and immediately you feel years and years of suspicions justified. The fact I’m…
The Enviate Hypercar (go Haltech!)
It would be too easy to ask this question of any era, with oddities like the Chaparral 2J “sucker car” in the mix.…
