I love the XJ220, I still remember the 1st time I saw one, was at Road America, there was one racing on the track & one in the Parkin lot. Gorgeous car in person & I loved & feel lucky to have seen one in action at that track.

Ha I’ve been there too (Jaguar Restoration shop in Muncie, IN) & agreed amazing shop. I found it completely by accident one day and stopped in and they very graciously showed me around.

I don’t know why Mueller would know about the cheat, other than he was on the Board. But I think Piech knew, and he knew the US was coming for them, which is why he groomed Mueller. Piece’s goal was to see VW continue, and that wouldn’t happen with an executive who knew about the deception. It all makes sense now…
