Charles Morgan is an interesting guy, who else is going to quote Wordsworth in a car review?

We still live in a world where working on your own cars is somehow seen as unsophisticated

Saw one of these in person for 1st time recently and immediately thought of this, very sleek and upscale looking.

watch out for that airbag :)

if Torch turns this in to a “top 10" this has to be #1, nice work!

#1. What’s the point of owning a luxury car anymore...

I Always have liked the 9000 (especially the 9000 Aero, such a cool distinctive European car). A neighbor had one growing up & I’ve liked them ever since.

wonderful as the above designs are, none of them exactly did well (or in may cases were even offered) in the US Market

which makes me wonder, since GM did it 1st & since this design feature is named after a BMW designer, what did the GM design team called this design element?

But if Ralf did that... he’d have nothing to write about, it’s not like he’s Torch who continually comes up with all sorts of fantastically crazy ass wonderful story ideas

Anyone else think this guy looks like it could be Jason’s younger brother?

I wonder if the seats from the GM Saab were 1... any good & if so... If they would bolt in?

Nice job OP, I was going to suggest the same (UV clear coat over headlights after sanding & compounding), will be doing this in a couple weeks on our Sienna

Oh... And two jugs of milk!

yes. intent was (or still is if they’re still working on it) was to further refine it in to a smaller / lighter package. I have no idea if they’re still working on it or not though, b/c this was always a pet project of Mr. Bose himself

This is interesting David, what car are they installing this system in 1st and when? I’m guessing it will be released in the R8, A8 or S8 1st, and then trickle down.

Which Mercedes essentially stole from Bose’s electromechanical suspension system

Now playing

Bose worked on a electro mechanical suspension system that could anticipate bumps for +25 years
To prove at least the hardware for their system worked, they set it up on a test track with all the bumps programmed in...They (as of yet) have not found sensors advanced enough to their pleasing that could accurately “see”

“You Do You America... You Do YOU!”

Yeah, I was thinking that price was ok, thought being that you’ll be able to sell it for about what you paid for it, given you take care of it of course. In which case you’d only be out ongoing maintenance costs
