You Pats fans are insanely defensive (not quite as bad as Royals fans though). Cheating is cheating, regardless of how much it affected the game. It applies to literally EVERY aspect of life. I don’t remember teachers saying, “well you only cheated for one question on the test, so we’ll let it slide”.

But refusing to cooperate is different from destroying evidence.

Who says all communications have to be texted? I know this is how the millennial generation conducts business of the social and even business kind, but why would Brady - who like me remembers a time when there wasn’t the internet and you had to write letters and mail them with a stamp - feel he only could contact

The awful convenient coincidence to me is that Brady (who allegedly destroys all his phones when they’re no longer being used) had two phones that were, well, NO LONGER BEING USED and also had no texts with the equipment guys available to give to a forensic examiner, yet the phone that did have text messages exchanged

a la the Manti Te’o fiasco

Actually, if it was an ongoing and well-known thing with long term employees, I would expect the opposite. The guy that does my landscaping comes out every other week and has been doing it for years. The first couple of times he came out, I had requests that I would text him about things he either missed or that I

I don’t think so. The lack of text messages/emails referring to this practice doesn’t mean it was done silently, rather that the communication referring to it was done in person. It isn’t a stretch to believe that the only times Brady reached out to the Pats staffers about deflating the balls was after he’d been

How is everyone posting “see, Brady’s obviously being railroaded” missing this? When I got to that point I was like, “welp, case closed, cheater.”

Well hes just making the reasonable assumption that Brady was hiding something by destroying the cell phone.

A patriots fan! So refreshing...

LOL jail sentence? Oh you mean that jail where you get to sit in your multi-million dollar mansion with your model wife, attend practices, attend games, and essentially not miss anything other than games?

but they also keep the two phones previous to that one even though they always destroy their old phone

The destruction of the phone is much more a technicality in favor of Goodell

Did you sign a contract saying you would fully cooperate in any investigation into your possible miaconduct?

Actually it appears you just aren’t smart enough to understand what the information relayed to you in this post actually means.

Don’t forget, you also have Brady saying that he always destroys his cell phone, then managed to have TWO other deactivated cell phones to hand over for forensic examination. The only one he destroyed in the last YEAR happened to be the one that was active during the season.

Sure, I get that, but the reasoning behind the missing cell phone is that it had to be destroyed immediately due to the sensitive nature of the data on the phone. Why did that reasoning not apply to the other phone that was just hanging around months later?

“I always destroy my old cell phones.”

is this supposed to have some relevance to the article posted?

Wait, so if Brady destroys his phones as a matter of course after he's done using them, why does he still have the phone that was active from May 2014 to November 2014?
