I just may be the only person on earth who ranks the alien movies in reverse order. 4 is best and 1 is good but over rated.

4 - has political commentary, expands its sci fi universe, is a prototype of firefly (no seriously) has good effects and nice french cinematography. Ripley is taken to a whole new level. can any

It’s nice to see Alan Moore getting some screen time.

Unfortunately, the focus on the action means there’s less time to showcase the film’s stars other than Ralph Fiennes’ Lord Oxford and Harris Dickinson’s new recruit Conrad.

Miss Minutes was, hands down, my least favorite part of the show. Partially because I absolutely despise those kinds of fake, over-the-top Southern accents.

Ryan Reynolds and Taika Waititi have been friends for ages. Before even Green Lantern, I think.  Which shows exactly how good friends they are.

but audiences owe it to themselves to understand when they’re being pandered to in rather obvious ways.

the Marvel Cinematic Universe usually gives its villains just as much gravitas as its heroes: Loki, Thanos, Killmonger, Red Skull

From NatGeo magazine online behind a paywall.

I love how this show mirrors Loki’s development in the movies while also going more in depth of why and how it happened.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop drinking blood.

Sounds like it was getting the “Under the Dome” treatment.

I swear one day I’m going to go through my comment history and find that 25% of my comments are somehow bringing up and trashing that show...

I just randomly happened on a 2015 interview with Elizabeth Olsen from BEFORE Age Of Ultron was released. Asked (at 1:40) what she’d like to tackle in the future, Olsen says she really wants to do House of M but “that would never happen.” Have two fake babies that don’t exist and she loses her mind, “probably too dark

I can tell you I was fucking screaming when I saw quicksilver.

Gotta hand it to Rodriguez, despite being a last-minute job he definitely brought his flourish to it and delivered a banger. I was wondering which episode would be his, and it became obvious as I was watching.

Christopher Nolan: Imagine a universe where the answers come before the questions.”

It’s a bit of a dry period as of new pop culture.

Season two is okay. I binged it once and doubt I’ll watch it again unlike season one that I’ve watch thru 3 or 4 times. Mackie just doesn’t have the intensity that Kenneman brings to the role. Add to that the (very occasionally) shoddy editing where you can clearly see that’s not Anthony Mackie in the fight scene and

About the same.

I’m fine with the animation but . . . centering the trailer around a Dirty Dancing reference? Who is this movie for?

Confusion is fine—can be great. But what was the point of it here? In something like Westworld, you don’t get confirmation of the different timelines until very late in the season, and what hints they give are very subtle until right before the reveal. Then it gets confirmed, and it turns out that a bunch of
