I was just thinking about how the Hollywood Godzilla movies have nosedived into Transformers territory at speed (which, to be fair, is more or less the same trajectory the original movies took too) and then a giant robot hand erupted from the Pyramids of Giza.

Judging from the plot synopsis, it’s Battle Beyond the Stars.

Surprised you didn’t mention that the new multiverse looks like Yggrasdil the World Tree. And that Loki repeats what he told Odin in the first Thor movie: “For you. For all of us.”

I don’t disagree with your sentiment but I find it incredibly odd that you went to a Marvel movie on a Thursday opening night, comment in fan communities, and you’ve seen NONE of the TV series?

Well this makes me glad they didint give him the job way back when!

That’s what I liked about the EU stuff, when it was far removed from the movies they got to come up with some cool stuff. Honestly I’d love to see something that takes place long after the movies

theres tens of thousands years of history in Star Wars. its needs a retooling not a reboot. just pick a new era and go from there. time is a circle in the Star Wars universe anyways. it wouldnt be out of the question that a plucky kid from nowhere mets a scoundrel and go on adventures to save a princess from any era

I am digging the way the MCU is avoiding the use of 2/3 and so on in the films with the exception being the Iron Man movies. We know who these characters are at this point, we don’t need to be spoon-fed the order with regard to titles.

You are shocked that they might want to lean into the fact that this is a sequel to a movie that made 1.129 Billion dollars in the lead up to that movies theatrical release?

It’s certainly what I signed up for.

“Loki and Mobius, Space Time Buddy Cops” is not what we signed up for.

Just a roll of the dice you say? (I’ll see myself out)

That girl in the middle has the darkest, most oblong face I’ve ever seen.

As is typical with these slideshows, this is less “the 15 worst biopics of all time” and more “15 movies the author remembers and is pretty sure were biopics.”

He fucking nailed it in Blade Runner 2049

Remember Lizzo? Did those really add much in the end?

It’s almost like they had no plan from one movie to the next.

When your method acting is generating more news headlines than the film, it might be time to reassess your method.

Some method actors do it because it genuinely helps them get into character (Daniel Day-Lewis), while others do it simply because they need to be the center of attention, and it’s a great opportunity to be an asshole and get paid for it.
