I read all of the Incarnations of Immortality books years ago and loved them. But I took one step into Xanth and noped the hell out. I’m glad I didn’t go looking any deeper.

5 would be cool. But PLEASE give me a remake of 3. From the awesome FFT like politics to the in-game internet full of secrets and easter eggs. I need this.

Yeah, you don’t need to have most of the bars active at all times, and even then you can minimize their screen space. Your setup is very nice.

That is my take as well. God Eater looked like an awesome anime version of Monster Hunter and was a sub-par copy. I really hope this ends up being good, but I wouldn’t buy in just yet.

Some of it definitely is especially anything dealing with later stuff. However, I have no idea where they got most of the pronunciations of proper nouns (names, places, etc) because, wow can they be horrible and inconsistent.

Signing on to the VIII love train. It gets a lot of shit for the Guardian Force system being a little obtuse, and the romance angle. Neither of which were actually that bad. As far as the numbered series goes, it had one of the most memorable stories, and the most awesome scores.

While I seriously disagree with you about turn based being obsolete. I can see where you are coming from with the stagnation of it as a mechanic.

My complaint about Ch 13 was that is was a pretty boring slog with the main antagonist spewing cliche lines and twirling his mustache. I don’t want to say that I am glad that I wasn’t the only one who thought this, because this wave of misplaced anger is astounding.

I remember picking Imperial Agent in the beta because I thought it would be the throwaway story and I didn’t want to be spoiled for my Jedi/Sith playthrough.
