As a FFXIV player and raider. Artifact Weapons are everything I wanted Zodiac/Anima to be. Not just sticks with glowy bits and more (configurable, eventually) stats. Artifacts have lore that matters, and is different per spec of class so something like 26~ different stories, perks that differentiate you versus

It is almost like someone is somehow compensating a bunch of people who wouldn’t normally say anything to post on their behalf. I wonder where that money would have come from.

The newer madden theme is my jam, it is stupidly epic and once it gets going the melody would be great for a JRPG fight.

Dear god, yes. As soon as you see Ana’s face I thought that voice would come out of it.

Yes. It should be very exciting. Also, by that time the pricing will probably be pretty affordable.

FLOPS = Floating point operations per second. Basically how many calculations a GPU/CPU can do. To match what a 1 TFLOPS GPU can do in just one second, you’d have to perform one calculation every second for 31,688.77 years.

There is confirmation. Sort of... Yoshi-P and the team talked about version 4.0. in general multiple times. Going from 3.4 (last expected Heavensward content patch) to 4.0 will mean an expansion.

Black sheep is right. A great many people say II or VIII is the wortst of the bunch (I disagree). That map though, how can I get my grubby hands on a large version of each map from this retrospective? Please tell me that there will be one for each game.

And I also add; “Mr. President”

This is a great explanation of what the original twitter guy is feeling but has no idea how to express. It comes out as a “WAAAAH they shouldn’t get it because I wanted it all to myself” and maybe HE means it that way, but in reality, what you have explained is the real problem.

I love Dark Forces/Jedi Knight.

EDIT: Wow. I had Star Trek on the mind. Leaving it there, because...

Stars for every comment in this thread.

See for me I think like this: $15 a month is like $0.50 a day or like 2 cents an hour. Even if I play something else for 60 hours in a month I lost what? $1.20 in game time? Meh.

That’s true, it isn’t a direct comparison. Though someone once said “It’s all relative” I typically don’t think of it as paying $180 a year for one game. I am constantly doing something new with random people and having fun so the experience is varied enough. I think that your valuation of MMOs is just much lower than

I have the same fascination with people who just play one game. I tend to play the crap out of new games as soon as I feel they are at the right price to pickup, then wander back to my MMO of choice until something else shows up. A couple of the people I play with just mainline that MMO (one of them has 700 days of

I agree. I have always been confused as to why there is so much of a stigma against Subscription MMOs now. But these posts have helped out a lot.

I can understand why it doesn’t make sense in your situation. I am one of those MMO-heads that play for endgame, so I never really thought about not getting my money’s worth. Even when I am bingeing on some other game I still hop on whatever MMO I sub to do stuff, not because it would be a waste otherwise, but because
