I guess it is just a different school of thought.

I get that. MMOs aren’t for everyone, especially if you don’t have a lot of game time. And I feel you on the FF fandom, even at my desk at work there are figures.
TSW: Not AAA. Played it when it came out and there is a reason for the free to play transition.
I may have mislead you there. You can cancel and not pay for the next month is what I am saying.
Same here. I have never played a free MMO that was actually worth spending that much on, period. Which is what I am saying. Most of them have no value at all.
I totally understand that, and for a long while I had a game budget that included $15 for WoW and that was it. Pre-Steam, and the glory that is a Steam sale, that was the best bang for my buck (at least to me).
When you consider the quality of those MMOs, or the fact that most of them try to bleed you of money via micro-transactions it is still pretty valid.
Hourly payments do make the most sense, for sure. I would love if the $15 were on some tiered system. A couple dollars for a small amount of hours, more for more. Maximum for people who play the most.
That is very true. But I have always thought that if you have limited funds for games, MMOs are the most bang for your buck anyway.
I mean, if you aren’t playing, don’t pay the subscription. $180 is a AAA game every three months. If you are going to buy some new non MMO game and you know that you are going to binge it for months, cancel the sub to the MMO.
Yeah I guess that is part of it, permanence. I have a crapton of games I’ll go back to as well especially on older systems.
Are there really that many people that have a problem with monthly subscriptions?
I felt the same. But XIV has a better story then any other numbered title since probably IX.
PS4 and PC can play together if you pick the same server when you make your character.
>Another Company/Studio: If this is your first break in games, good luck. With most industries that cluster in certain geographic locations, you get what you get, where you get it.
Let me know when someone moves to the Bay Area to work remotely for a company NOT located in the Bay Area. Then I will join you in your anger.
Not even the Swimsuits are for in game tasks anymore, just sad. I haven't been very happy with the direction of the series since Vesperia and its' "No this character is not playable at all and never will be, disregard her room, and weapons being included in the game, wait, yes it is, when we re-release it for another…
Those last words cut me to the core for two reasons.
Turtle Team! I thought I was the only one! /brofist.
