I actually switched over the day of, but something went wrong, and I’m stuck in the greys as well.

Pretty much losing everyone I listened to while growing up. Such sadness.

Sam Gyeop Sal!!!!

“I concur society has influenced over our behavior and customs. But that doesn’t mean our most basic primordial instincts will go away.”

“My intention isn’t to fight with you. Yet, when you direct a judgement like “I’ve come to realize we can’t reasonably expect this because many people are utterly thoughtless (and usually* not intentionally). It’s just the way people are (putting the bare minimum of thought)” on others you deserve to be held up to

There is an often-quoted view that a blind person’s remaining four senses are heightened to compensate for their lack of vision. In popular culture, sightless superhero Daredevil makes use of his super senses to save the world, and in the film Scent of a Woman, Al Pacino’s blind character could tell one perfume from

The talk wasn’t about psychology. It was a talk by Celeste Headlee about having better conversations.

I’m not saying don’t ask questions, but we fail to listen to the answers before ask a question that already popped into our minds. That’s why it’s thoughtless.

No doubt, and it’s a huge factor.

But that’s not the case when the movie has major writing problems, so it doesn’t matter what you compare it to. Writing problems will cause big problems no matter the source material. Same went for the Death Note “reimagining/remake”. But that fucking sucked.

If we judge the live-action in a vacuum (not comparing it to the anime) it still has major problems, much of it writing, and isn’t a very good movie.
