I think it still boils down to a union member’s right to appeal the decision of an arbitrator agreed upon in a CBA. If they re-heard every case where someone doesn’t like the outcome of arbitration they’d be inundated with cases.

Cool, why do you figure?

Watching a streamer play the start of the game, I quickly saw how the game was handling its secrets and realized, my god, they actually made a new Doom. Like, not a jump-scare bullshit shadow-fest like Doom 3 but an honest to god DOOM game. Right then I knew I had to pick it up and I’ve been loving it (and collecting

I was not a Doom kid, but I was a Timesplitters kid, and this game has that pacing in spades, just not in the MP. SP is probably the purest, most ‘video game’ first person shooter to come out in at least a few years. It’s not perfect by any stretch, but everything that works works well and the additions to the formula

Not yet, and that was actually called the Executor. The Devastator was his Imperial Star Destroyer in A New Hope and then he showed up rocking the Executor, Super Star Destroyer in the next two films.

The distinctive superstructure of the Devastator, Vader’s ship from A New Hope. I think it’s supposed to be a sensor array or something but no other Imperial Star Destroyer has that little X structure above it’s bridge.

Doom for me is the surprise game of the year. I just love it, its more doom than I was expecting. I haven’t been this caught off guard since wolfenstein the new order came out. Like how it does not take itself seriously and has all these little touches, easter eggs and nods to the past and is just fun gameplay.

In addition to the vault tech easter egg, one of the collectible doomguys you find is in a vault tech style, i think its name is vault guy?

Rip shaggydog.

This movie was fine, but it kept trying to push emotional resonance with characters we just met on us. We meet Black Panther’s father, who immediately dies, and this is supposed to hit hard. It doesn’t; we don’t fucking know the guy. No one even a little important dies, and after that fight midway through, it becomes

Why do you think that is? Do you think it could be because the show is surpassing the books now? Maybe since you don’t know what’s going to happen or that it’s not sourcing a book drives you nuts? I’m not trolling, seriously wondering. I’ve heard other people that have read the books have similar feelings. Sometimes

It must be so miserable being you.

When Thoros brought Beric back the first time he was having a crisis of faith as well wasn’t he?

And, let’s not forget what else happened this episode.

I mean, the Jon theory was pretty popular because GRRM laid some heavy foundation for it. There was no way GRRM was leaving Jon dead. It’s more the execution going forward that might vary.

Perhaps he lost his ability to know nothing.

You too know the Easter European Bunnies???

Aaaaand another comments section full of io9 Marvel fankids using the opportunity to bleat that DC has taken a different approach and tone to Marvel.

Guess I’m in the minority of people who think BvS is pretty great. (Ducks, covers.)
