I find her serviceable at best, which is disappointing because the first thing I saw her in, Winter’s Bone, I thought she was absolutely fantastic, but everything since. . . the subtle, understated performance she gave in Winter’s Bone has just never been seen again.

That and she keeps showing up in things with Bradley…

You had trouble getting into reading a book intended for 12 year old girls, and so you are impressed in a way that is ‘impossible to overstate’ when you can watch an attractive woman play a lead role in a CGI fest action movie the way countless women before her have? You need higher standards.

Still of the opinion that Winter’s Bone was by far her best work and everything since has been significantly overrated...Silver Linings Playbook included.

Plus NPH’s military intelligence outfit is, like, straight up Nazi. The other movies may be trash, and this might be a “terrible” adaption of the book, but it’s a great film once you get what’s really going on.
