I’m counting! For weeks they’ve been hyping ‘first ever photo of a black hole’ and instead what we get is ‘latest visualisation of a set of radio signals from a black hole’. That’s NOT a photo by any definition. At best, it’s a ‘radio’, at worst, it’s a graph. 

Well, the one in Interstellar didn’t seems to have dopplar effect applied to the light. Half of the accretion disc should be darker than the other half, as we see here.
