@Ryodestined: An analog doesn't seem to be necessary to Nintendo. The touch screen is a solution for first person shooters, and I don't know what else they could do for 3rd person platformers.

@simply_androoo: Have fun waiting 1 and a half to 2 years!
@xCoolJackx: And wait a year and a half? Too long for me.
@Rikadyn: I don't get why people seem to think that it takes 6 months for a new iteration to be released. The DS lite was released a year and a half after the original DS, while the DSi came out 2 years after the lite. The only iteration that came out even close to 6 months was the XL, which came out 11 months after…
@Cooking Utensil: By the current design of this 3DS, I'm skipping an iteration. It's already good looking enough.
@Hongo: The only thing I don't like about the 3DS are the slight "ramps" it has at the ends of the top. It reminds me of the original DS.
@Hongo: I think they'll release a firmware update for the DSi that enables some sort of "register your games and transfer them to your 3DS" type thing. I still don't think they'll allow accounts.
@Methusalah: They say the 3DS is their relaunch for online. They're pushing content to you, so hopefully it's loads better than it is now.
@Hongo: Oh wow. It's great to be OCD about stuff you buy. At least you take care of them.
@VincentGrey: I think the reason they didn't do it with the DSi was... Why bother? This is one of the last iterations of the DS. It would alienate DS/lite owners for the short period of time before the 3DS came out. As this is a new generation of portable gaming, they have another 6 years to make a profit rather than…
@Methusalah: I personally don't think so. The 3DS is getting console like titles, and at the very least, I expect just a tad bit more gems than what WiiWare has. Hopefully it'll have a Virtual Handheld or something along the lines of that.
@Hongo: I think it's because developers don't seem to try much with the store. I think it's because they're afraid of the memory limitations of the DSi. There was a game I was actually looking foward to on the service (Shantae) but that hasn't come out, while it was promised to in Q1 2010.
@Hongo: Meh, I just say no and move on. I'm quite mean.
@An Atheist Jew: I thought Mononoke was his first film with CGI in it?
I wonder how the 3DS's virtual store will be like....
@josephmeraz: They mean something more along the lines that DSi exclusive software is not pirated, and hackers still have no access to camera, SD, menu, etc.
It'll sell, regardless if people can see the 3D effect. It's a freakin' Nintendo product with a "DS" in the name.
@Hongo: Oh dear God. I have a cousin named Brendon, and he always wants to play my DS. He led to the breaking of his sister's DS's hinge via dropping it down the stairs. You must imagine my terror the first time I used that and he was playing my DSi.
.... Didn't Miyazaki use to draw aircraft? He would freak if he saw this.
New feature of 3DS: Holds your makeup, too!
