@m9105826: I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. It's my worst allergy. My Mom, brother, and dad smoke. And I live with all of them. So not only am I going to get lung cancer from secondhand smoke or something, but it also affects me by making me feel like shit.

@roll41: I'd like to see what you guys accomplish. I myself love making sprites, but I SUCK at animation.

@Sithishade: They Strip Brackets!: I'm 13, and I'm in the same boat as you. I have around $45 saved up right now, but my brother owes me $150, which he's giving me with his tax thing.

@Mr. S.: Yes. I didn't get the Wii on launch day, and it wasn't until June 2008 when I finally found one.

@doctorrobert: Check Amazon, they usually have great deals. Spirit Tracks usually goes down to $20, as well as Dragon Quest IX. HeartGold/SoulSilver were 20 bucks at Best Buy a few weeks ago.

@Torokun: Game Boy games were around 30 - 40 bucks. Those that were $40 were mostly Final Fantasy games.

@simply_androoo: Wouldn't that apply to skitzogreg's comment as well?

@dccorona: Strange, I've played several. Hell, if the Game Boy Color were still around, I'd pay 40 bucks for a brand new copy of Pokemon Gold.

@skitzogreg: Nah, I'd say it was the horrendous lag.

@dccorona: I would not pay 40 bucks for Infinity Blade. It's gorgeous, but the gameplay and effort put into actually making the game (not the engine) fun isn't worth it.

@Salari: I love Mario Kart, and with the improved Nintendo online the 3DS holds.... I can't wait. <3

@Mixiboi: That peak was reached long ago: See N64. And several unique NES, SNES, Genesis, and other system's games.

@Mixiboi: Actually, a lot of game prices have dropped. There were a lot of games that were priced around $60 to $70 dollars back in the 90's.

@The Amazing Exploding-Man: Actually, the highest price for original Game Boy games were usually the Final Fantasy titles, which were $40 on release.

@shanerm: How the hell is it a re-issue when it does stuff better (such as online) better than the Wii?

@dreaming neon black: Strange. I guess it's to avoid trying to survive in a saturated launch lineup?
