That is an excellent point. When I see a child being "bratty" in a public place, especially some place like an airport (or something equally soul-killing), I often think that most or all of us adults would be behaving in EXACTLY the same way (e.g., sitting in the middle of the floor screaming) if we had not been

I see that people are already piling on here. I am posting to thank you for admitting that sometimes your kids make you angry with them. Most parents won't discuss that and it is a terrible hypocrisy.

I expect they are setting up his character for this type of scenario: His life gets fucked up, he fucks up on the job and becomes discredited—then he starts finding out stuff about Philip and Elizabeth but his superiors don't believe him because he's a known fuckup.

Yeah, but he has feeeeeelings for her. He luuuuuuuvs her. His line, "I can't stop thinking about you," was perfect manipulation on his part.

You have to admit, though, "Another Brick in the Wall" is not a typical Pink Floyd tune.

Objectively, The Wall is one of Pink Floyd's worst albums.
But baked and with headphones on, that shit will mess you up.

That's funny - I've been pontificating for years on how radical Marxists are more like religious zealots than either will ever admit: both base their faith in an expected miraculous event that everyone else thinks is coo-coo-bananas.

Nixon was worse and Dubya was Ebola for this country.
…But I lived through Reagan/Bush too, and it was a goddamn nightmare for the working class and the poor.

There was an ep where Rick and Michonne, driving, encounter a hiker who runs after their car screaming and pleading. They ignore him. On the way back from their run, they encounter what's left of that hiker, pilfer his usable possessions (backpack etc.) and then drive on.
These two scenes were just bookends to the

This ep was much better than I expected it to be. I thought I was shocked by Carol's video (I expect we will see other characters' videos in future episodes) but then I was REALLY shocked by Rick's last line at the end.
P.S. I don't know why but I loved the fact that, during Darryl's video, you can see that he is

Female, here. Although the scene is legendarily uncomfortable for most people, I have never thought that it crosses the line into rape. You could make the argument that Rachel had nowhere else to go, and was terrified into the bargain, and there's your coercion; but my personal discomfort comes from the eroticism in

The bit where she protested that she'd be old enough to drive soon was the bit where I wanted to crawl under my furniture. So creepy and pitiful. The young lady acts very well.

I'm thinking "Clark" will have to kill Martha at some point. I'm not looking forward to it but it seems inevitable, especially since she has not provided any useful intel since about the middle of last season.

Ah, that music video is one of the greatest music vids ever. It's 95% Hefty bags and tinfoil, 4% the best 80s makeup and hair ever, and 0.5% crappy song. It's like a three-minute tutorial on the entire decade.

Nah, in the season finale the idyllic community will be breached or marred in some way, and there will be a spectacular battle/destruction scene which will end leaving us with questions as to who has been killed and who has survived. Also, the survivors will be split up in some way.
Bet you five bucks.

Not yet, but I anticipate a ghastly explanation before season's end. (Remember, at the breached portion of the wall around Noah's compound, all those disembodied legs?)

just one pepsi.

Obviously referencing teh gaiz.

I loved Dollhouse. I still regret that Whedon didn't shop it to HBO or some other pay channel, because network TV just wasn't the place for a premise as dark as that.

The pilot episode—Season One, Ep One—is so fucking good and so unlike virtually any other television that you will be immediately sucked in.
The rest of S1 and S2 sorta go steadily downhill from there (though S1 is still mostly very good).
Everybody hates S2, including me, because the pacing is ridiculously slow and the
