I’m unable to find it again now but I saw early this morning that they posted a brief Strange New Worlds clip with a glimpse of the Lower Decks crossover featuring Mariner and Boimler. The Lower Decks uniforms look great in live action !
In the very mild defense of the Epcot version of the Frozen flume ride, it’s just a reskin of an old ride from 1988 that was never really meant to be all the grandiose.
100% of the time that guy looks like he’d be sticky if you touched him. Not sure how that translates into “I want to smell like that dude looks”.
And always the excuse that his pay package is in line with peers in similar companies. So they all keep going up to match whoever got the last raise, forever.
I was thinking that too but it has been 29 years since the show started and the cast was older on average than most shows of the era. All of the main cast were in their mid-40s when the show started except for Mira Furlan(38) and Claudia Christian(32).
I knew they converted the one in California to Guardians but didn’t know they dropped the Twilight Zone aspects of the Orlando version. I haven’t been since I fled Florida a decade ago. Did they replace the intro movie and such?
Wow. I was not aware that was a thing! Scrubbing through the movie it looks like they just filmed as much as possible in the actual line for the ride? Good value for the money!
If he’s in jail then he is unable to vote, which must be done in person. So the slight majority on members on paper wouldn’t matter as much. Though maybe they’d keep him just so there is no possibility the seat could flip?
Agreed that it’s definitely bad but it was at least fairly fun. And I thought Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds were more interesting than Wesley Snipes throughout the movie, though I feel like I’m in the minority on that note.
He’s not gonna turn down his $14,500 per month congress salary even if he’s sitting in jail while collecting it, because he was otherwise broke prior to getting elected and is too shameless to care about little things like basic ethics. His colleagues in congress claimed they would remove him if he got convicted…
Brought you by Subway’s five dollar footlong!
On the Tower of Terror...does that mean it’s a Twilight Zone movie? Because that’s the theme of the ride, complete with Rod Serling impersonator intro.
“What channel is the Twitter on? I’m missing Tucker’s show!”
Yea but he does it discreetly!
I like that head cannon! Apparently though, the stardate given at the start of the game actually corresponds to it taking place between the very good Descent Part 2, and the very meh Liaisons at the start of season seven.
The space combat is pretty fun in STO, but the ground stuff has been rough from day one. One million years ago I won a closed beta invite by entering a writing competition on their webpage. I played tons and tons in the beta and then for about a year or so into launch, before falling off. Went back two years ago or so…
I forgot about her at first but yea, she’s actually the most obvious one!
I loved A Final Unity so much back in the day. It felt just like an episode of TNG. I think it was also my first experience with fully voiced PC gaming? I remember having to jump through some hoops getting it to run on my first ever video card but it was definitely worth the effort. Sad to see it as abandonware.
