I grew up reading Archie and got digests and double-digests as a kid, which always had a nice mix of the different decades. This is either to going to be the best thing for Archie fans, or the worst.

Yeah, the outside lines are god awful, which is part of the reason I just walk in right before the panel starts. Unless it’s a huge get (Shatner, the GotG director last year) you can usually sneak into the back and hear everything just fine.

I don’t think SDCC will ever be able to do, not if it keeps getting bigger. I hope they end up doing something about the lines though, waiting in line all night to sit in a room for 8 hours for a couple of panels is a lot to go through.

Hotel reservations are the worst, but at least you can always get a ticket into the con. I agree about not feeling you missed anything if you skip a panel...there’s always something going on and if there’s not, people watching at the Marriott or Hyatt is always a blast.

Dragon Con “compairable” rooms (ie large and the rooms w/ big stars as opposed to fan panel rooms) hardly ever completely fill up in my experience. I’ve only had it happen 2 or 3 times over the past 6 years. They also don’t allow for offical lines to start up until an hour before the panel begins, which means there…

I haven’t had a problem going out of the panel room and then jumping into the end of the line for the new panel in the same room, albeit all the way in the back.
But I have poor vision anyways, so having a view of the stage isn’t super important to me as long as the cameras/video feed are working.

I’m a legit book horder, so I still have all the books of my childhood waiting for me at my parents house. Once my kid gets to 1st grade, these will become her’s if she wants them.
