I made the mistake of trying to eat dinner while watching Sweet Movie once. Completely ruined my appetite.

That Tennessee Williams episode is one of my favorite episodes of any podcast ever.

For a long time I would only listen to the first half of the Flop House episodes, but now that I've been listening regularly for a few months I've been interested enough to go back and finish all the letter segments, etc.

I can't believe they left out The Final Sacrifice. Still, I know what I'll be watching this weekend.

That was my experience as well with Hilarious World. The constant narration really interrupted the flow of the interview for me and was really frustrating by the end of the conversation. I'll have to check out Mental Illness Happy Hour.

Higher and Higher always reminds me of Death to Smoochy. Not sure which is worse tbh.

I've been hanging onto my Howl subscription largely for the Superego archives and bonus episodes.

I just started listening to The Adventure Zone last night. I joined my first D&D campaign this summer, around the same time I discovered MBMBAM, and it's such a delight.

The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is one of my go-to, feel-good movies.

I just finished it and aside from a couple of the guests being too wacky for my taste, it was consistently enjoyable. I agree that I'm not sure where they could go from here, but I'd love to hear more.

I remember my dad and step-mom bought tickets for us to see a Second City show called "No Country for Old White Men" in the summer of 2008, and they were FURIOUS there were political jokes. Like, what was your first clue?

Yep, this was from a Jordan Klepper segment on The Daily Show.

Shinty-six

And I'm pretty sure that episode is (or at least, was) available for free up on YouTube for anyone who wants to check it out.

Their romantic comedy episodes are some of my favorites because there never seems to be a shortage of bad movie logic to pick apart.

"American Girl" from The Silence of the Lambs

In my experience, many people on online dating profiles could benefit from stopping for a haircut at the very least.

I had completely forgotten about that line and cracked up when I watched it again recently.

I thought he was working on a movie (and that he was in Michigan for some of that time)?

My understanding is that Pusher 2 & 3 were made to help bail out NWR's production company from bankruptcy after Fear X… so I guess it's still a franchise, but in a different sense than the Bond series.
