I enjoyed 2, but it never quite clicked for me. I found it way more difficult than 1.

I would love to see a Xenogears remaster, but it would need substantial changes to be releasable today. People would be even less forgiving of the unfinished second disc, and the localization was bad enough to probably need a complete redo. This would all be challenging enough, but all the original creators have left…
Is the eighth protagonist Fuse, the unfinished one from the original? Also did they give Lute an actual plot this time?
Some of the issues here have to do with Blizzard being stuck with an old IP that made some very unfortunate, problematic decisions early on, and not being interested in making necessary sweeping changes to their lore.
Xbox is losing the console war this time around, so it’s bad now.
Easy. The 3DO. Not sure what compelled my grandparents to get that for me, but everything I had for it was bizarre and nigh-unplayable. The FMV was technically impressive for the time, but it was attached to all these really terribly designed games.
What’s especially baffling is that they’ve ported so many other games to PC in recent years. They ported the awful mobile versions of FF5 and FF6. They ported FF13 and its sequels, along with FF15. The FF 10, 10-2, and 8 remasters all got PC ports. FF7, FF9, and the remakes of FF4 and the After Years are all on there.…
It’s a crime that this isn’t on Steam yet.
I mean, Andrew Jackson did the Trail of Tears. Hard to compete with literal genocide when we’re talking about worst leaders.
Before Trump, I might have agreed with you. Though Nixon, Andrew Jackson, Andrew Johnson, and Bush Junior all gave Reagan a run for his money.
You can’t make a game that lionizes an American president and say it isn’t political.
The parts you mention are okay, but Tom Nook also signs you up for contracts without explaining the terms, most crucially including how much money you will owe him. Despite the fact that you did not give informed consent, he considers you legally obligated to pay him the amount he decided on. That’s pretty predatory.
What a horrible series of tragedies to befall such a talented and impressive young man. The world is such a terrible place. I hope he’s at peace now.
For those of us who live in an area where going outside is dangerous right now, have they added anything to make it easier to play without travel?
But isn’t the game supposed to be terrible? Isn’t that why they opposed the release?

Only reps can build bridges/inclines, add new houses, terraform, add paths, or move buildings.
Oh, I agree. And they absolutely should be doing a better job of being inclusive. But that’s why they do it this way.
It’s all about sales. America spends more on video games than anywhere else in the world. It makes financial sense to focus on adding holidays relevant to an American audience. Adding content is expensive, and they won’t invest the resources on a holiday celebrated somewhere where they get few sales.
Will they ever add the ability to change the resident representative? It made sense for me to be our house’s when we started playing, but now my wife and kid play way more than I do. We don’t want to start over, but it’d be really nice to switch who’s in charge.
I think ‘trump card’ outside of actual card playing is dead forever. Bridge players might continue to use ‘trump’ since they tend to be old and white.
