Can a tailor rework a shirt for a slimmer fit toward the waist, or does this fall under the “proportion” escape clause? I wrestle with “medium tall” vs. “large” shirts to try and get a slim enough fit at the waist while still having enough room for my chest and shoulders to not be straitjacketed.
