first of all, what is with the rafting helmet on a bicycle?
first of all, what is with the rafting helmet on a bicycle?
because. that’s why.
but if Merc instead chose to invest the same money in improving mass market cars, whether that is making them cheaper, more efficient, or more environmentally friendly to manufacture, it would have an impact.
they played the radio messages to both hamilton and russle on the air. both were told to lift and coast, potential DNF situation. no mention of a temperature or water leak issue at the time, that was the “reason” Toto gave after the race.
does he even constitution? (1783, not 1776....) 1776 was just a bunch of rich farmers (many of them slave owners) kicking the hornets nest...
you know what we need in this world? more conspicuous consumption....
instead of, you know, not burning down the whole fucking world.
hah, didn’t notice that.
god I miss actual fucking buttons and knobs.
California City sounds like the long running Deming NM land scam.
how about actual gates at all crossings, the kind you can’t drive around.
I really wish someone would introduce a racing series that just specified a box the car had to fit in, crash safety and vision standards and a maximum air intake diameter, a strict cost cap and let the engineers go wild. maybe a spec safety cell/crash structures to keep costs in check.
umm, grammar? English is a language with rules......
sainz damaged his floor pretty badly in the gravel. definitely hurt his downforce/tire wear
it is entirely possible they were low on fuel and were worried about not having the requisite 1L for the fuel sample at the end. might prefer to have people believe they had an engine issue rather than that their performance was down to underfuelling.
the idea that both cars would simultaneously spring water leaks…
I agree that the length and width of a Fit are in line with an older civic hatch, it is a lot taller and has a lot more interior volume and two too many doors. more of a micro minivan than a hatchback. but again, you can’t buy one anymore, so my point about the lack of small hatchbacks from honda remains.
it is significantly larger and heavier, and you still can’t buy it anymore because it was discontinued 2 years ago in the US..
well, considering you can’t even get a Fit in the US anymore, and never could get a 3 door, the smallest Honda available currently is the Civic liftback with a 107" wheelbase, 179" length (19" longer), 71" width (4" wider) and 55.7" height (5" higher) and a minimum 2900lb curb weight, over 800 lbs heavier compared to…
the old skool 3 door civic (which I suppose would now be a 3 door Fit although that car is actually huge compared to the old Civic)
“shitty logic”?!??! what crawled up your ass?
how fucking hard would it be to run a string from the top of the internal roll bar to the peak of the forward crash structure, or insist that the top of the helmet be a minimum of 2.5” below the roof?
the “helmet bubble” roofs do not provide any structural protection in…
much better than the great pyramids (which do deserve to be seen in person just to understand the scale if nothing else) are the Saqqara pyramid complex. much older, much less crowded, much less urine, no tourist camel rides that cost $20 to go out in the desert and $100 to get back.
also, Barcelona. just came back…
