VEB Sachsenring - they made one car and it was fantastic!
two things:
1: why would you have _any_ door cards in a stripped out track car
did she look at Michael Jackson’s nose job and say “I gotta get me some of that!!!!!”??!??
or was that her promotor’s idea...
1: once they enabled DRS, it had very little effect on the train you are complaining about.
2: it made absolutely no difference at the front of the race, LeClerc couldn’t pass Perez even with DRS.
3: there was a ton of great racing and excellent passes made without DRS during the race.
4: the only ones unhappy about the…
there is a lot of salt in that wound.
headline implies Verstappen won because LeClerc spun, when in reality, Verstappen dominated the whole weekend except for the start of the sprint race.
LeClerc couldn’t keep within DRS range of Perez at all and his one opportunity came when Perez lost 4 seconds due to straightlineing the chicane over the grass and…
you joke, but you _know_ the DoD is just salivating at the idea of strapping a frikkin lazerbeam to that mirror system and drilling for Putin. space based version of “Real Genius”
so, is this the daily shit on musk piece on the gizloproot collective?
because seriously, you guys need a new hobby. we get it, he’s a billionaire entirely due to luck and privilege and never worked a day in his life and he’s also mean.
grow the fuck up.
wow, cool, I guess you could set up a pretty good course (particularly if you ran it all the way around the perimeter road then used some of the interior roads as an infield.)
in a spec series like Indycar, does it matter how old the car is? as long as it is up to the latest safety standards and produces close, exciting racing who cares about if it is a brand new design?
yes, as was the previous AF-1. they were 747-200s, delivered to the AF in 1990 about 5 years after the -400 went on offer and about a year after the -400 entered commercial service. IIRC they were already talking about parts issues due to it being a discontinued aircraft within about 5 years of it going into…
you would think they could work something out where they bolt wings above wings to make a biplane and then stuff more wings inside....
the whole island is about 1.25 miles from end to end the long way. the longest straight section of road is less than 0.4 miles, even the bridge is only 0.8 miles long.
make for a hell of a shifter cart track, but not F1 without bulldozing the whole island and starting fresh.
when they built it it was surrounded by mosquito infested swampland and the east river was basically a sewer..
today it is between the two runways of LGA, so would be noisy as fuck to live there, only one way on or off the island so traffic would be a shit show
I think a better use would be to fix our broken drug laws which are responsible for a large percentage of the inmates then sell the whole thing off to a real estate developer to be converted into boutique condominiums like Stuyvesant Town or Governor’s Island.
the new hot real estate trend would be “mid century modern …
not surprisingly, the world has changed a lot since mr. honda was 25 and even since he died in ‘91. drunk driving was normal when he was 25, “geishas” (i.e. nice name for prostitute) were (and continue to be) seen as less than deserving of protection from the law, men were expected to be assholes etc.
I agree it is lower middle to middle middle.
I know where I live, the last 2 years have seen >50% increase across the board in housing prices (i.e. a $200k house in early 2020 is now over $300k and the percentage gain seems to be a U curve with the highest increases at the bottom and the top)
right, and none of those things are true here.
what percentage of residents object? I bet it is a very loud, but small percentage.
“some” residents, by no means all.
