long haul trucking in the US is not going away any time soon. that would require massive investment in and expansion of the rail network (not gonna happen) and a willingness on the part of the public to wait more than 1 day for their shit to get delivered (also not gonna happen)

a huge contributor to inconsistent rulings race to race is the different steward crews at each race. they should be paid professionals who go to every race just like the safety car driver and race director.

so, at minimum it would need to be at least 7 cents a gallon cheaper to even break even, not including added maintenance costs due to non-e15 rated fuel system components, additional corrosion and smog output.

E-15 doesn’t actually save you any money in practice, because the reduced price per gallon is offset by the reduction in miles per gallon on the less powerful fuel.
