they are required under F1 rules to keep the garage door open and not use “privacy panels” to obscure the view of people authorized to be in pit lane.  even the lining up team members to block the view of “outsiders” is a grey area as if they did that and prevented an FIA official from seeing what they were doing it…

they pretty much do.  Lewis spent a good 15 minutes eyeballing the red bull and if he’s doing it, you know the engineers are and they have team photographers who’s only job is to take 10,000,000 photos of the other team’s cars

yes, but the press guys, not affiliated with the teams should be photographing the shit out of everything that comes out of a garage.

I am constantly amazed at the low quantity of photos in the F1 press, even in technical articles talking about what the engineers are trying to do with the air.

yes.  there needs to be a corresponding expansion of public transit any time something like this is enacted.

pretty much every city in europe does this.  they allow delivery trucks between midnight and 6am usually.  construction and repair vehicles (like plumbers etc) get permits for daytime access which are strictly enforced.
