wow Jason,

I am really disappointed that you somehow think Eric’s position is anything other than absolute trash. but I guess joining the Union means spouting the party line.

old rich guy went high enough to get astronaut wings. higher than Chuck Yeager (who got astronaut wings). he met the official government

sadly, that is true.

that private spaceport was a pre-existing runway in new mexico that they slapped the label “space port” on. I’ve been there. Govt funding was a total of about $43k. they put up a sign and made minor facilities improvements.  and any company that wants to use the facility is free to do so.

god that is ugly.

have they fixed the gas mileage? the current tundra gets about 15mpg highway real world where all the other full size trucks are able to break 20 consistently.  using 25% more gas is a big cost at those mileage numbers.

the motor is a hoot in the Pan America, so it should be great here too (plus harley can get all that “Stage II” gravy by upselling buyers to PA levels of HP.)

biggest problem for me with this bike is drag bars and forward controls are just fucking horrible comfort wise.  be lucky if you can ride 10 miles without

but the real question here is who looks better bald, JPS or Willy from Philly?

(edit: my vote would be JPS, she looks gooood.)

I really don’t get the appeal of Steven A. Smith.

he yells a lot of stupid shit all the time, most of his sentences are complete gibberish, he says a lot of bigoted things then makes pronouncements about other people’s bigotry being bad.

his sports takes are generally trash.

you get that that is the Baja referred to in the original post?

and that he was hoping for a relaunch of exactly that?

what taxpayer money has he spent? USG didn’t fund any of the development.

oh, he used the airport? so do you every time you fly somewhere.

SpaceX launch cost $50M (recoverable) or $62M expendable, payload 34,000 lbs or 50,000 lbs.

cost per pound to LEO: $1470 (recoverable) $1240 (expendable)

seems like a whole lot cheaper than the space shuttle.  also factor in the fact that the shuttle very rarely flew at anywhere near max weight and your cost per pound

cost of a falcon 9 launch (new booster, no recovery) ~$62M per
cost of a falcon 9 launch (used booster, recovered) ~50M per
cost of falcon heavy launch $90m (fully recovered) to $150m (fully expended)

USG spent precisely $0 on space ship 3.

@eric - people like you are why we can’t have nice things

the correct answer here is to do away entirely with vanity plates.  also all the issue plates need to go.

but that will never happen because $$$$$

no, just no.

first of all “longer than the CR-V and Passport,” - the Passport didn’t exist in 2010, you must be thinking of the Pilot.

second - 2010 was a bad year for honda paint - the number of 2010 hondas with failed clearcoat and even color coat down to the primer is approximately all of them (I own one, so, yeah)

thi

questions spring to mind:

does OT Elite teach financial management?

did the kid sign a lifetime contract with the OT Elite Mgt company as his agent getting a 20% vig forever (because in the NBA only the guys in the middle really need an agent. top guys get max deals, bottom guys get league minimum) ?

this guy would have ended up murdering people whether or not he was “radicalized”.

fucker was a nut job looking for a justification for his homicidal urges. white supremacy was an easy fit, but it could just as easily have been women, glbt, democrats, vegetarians (god I hate vegetarians)...

this is an awful story, but

so, when I had to remove my receiver hitch from my Honda Pilot to replace the rear bumper beam, all the nuts that were welded to the “frame rails” popped off meaning I couldn’t re-install the receiver hitch

would something like this be a suitable substitute??  i.e. could I buy the right size, drive them in and attach
