@Jason,

when are you going to hop it up? you promised us the Fast and Furious Changli (or at least less slow and slightly miffed)

WHAR AR THA HOPUPS?

the answer is always Miata. unless it is Boxster.

or any little shitbox car. if you are going to drive a shitbox, why pay more for it than you absolutely have to.

for instance: Kia Forte with all the options, or for the same money, the base K5 which is a hell of a lot more car?

you know what else isn’t an american made car? all the fords and gms and chryslers built in Mexico and Canada.

also non-union.

Red Bull (who this is targeting) have had the fewest unsafe releases of all teams. how is this a safety thing?

this is Merc going after Red Bull because they never needed to put in the effort before to have good pitstops that Red Bull did and now with the cost cap, they can’t afford to.

Mercedes (having gotten the engine right on the first try), after 7 straight years of domination is finally facing even competition. so of course they are now doing everything they can to try to get the rules changed so they get 7 more years.

Lewis is a great fucking driver, probably one of the top 5 all time and

I would much rather own and drive the old one.

while I think the current astons are pretty, the old one looks like a hell of a lot more fun.

europe is a fucking peninsula.  it is in no way disjoint from the rest of asia.

asia is the planets largest island, and europe is a fucking peninsula.

properly pretty. best looking ferarri in a long time.

only thing I would change is the upsweep on the door and front of C pillar. a bit less upsweep and a sharper break to vertical, like so:

I just realize that Pete Davidson looks exactly like a younger, uglier Steve Buscemi

I wonder when hollywood will make a Looper II based on that premise.

the AC relay on my 2010 civic overheats on really hot days and the AC stops working just when you need it most. then when it cools down a couple degrees, everything is fine again.

the big bang was probably your A/C compressor letting go, might have seized up for a bit causing drag on the belt and the apparent power

no, you don’t (unless it is a diesel). suck, squeeze, BURN, blow.

@Bradley,

I demoed the Pan America at Laconia last week. That motor is sweet and wants to be treated like a dirt bike motor, very un-harley in every respect (and I enjoy harleys). lots of power, wants to be revved, quick throttle response..

the things I didn’t like were the handlebars (just a personal fit issue, made my

wouldn’t be a Shilling article without an off topic dig at Tesla.

did Elon fuck your wife/husband/daughter/son or something? did he piss/shit/cum in your wheaties?

looks like the clips or through bolts that are supposed to grab the groove in those mounting pegs were not installed/twisted to the lock position.

for sure a QC escape, but also a 30 second fix.

“fun to drive” != handling

I agree most modern cars are less fun in all ways except mashing the gas pedal, but from an objective evaluation (lap time, safety at the limit, approachability at the limit, slalom times, braking stability into a curve) modern, unmodified production cars are in every way massively better

what are you smoking.

in 1992 the best car (unmodified) on the market (Ferrari F40) could barely pull 1.01G on a skidpad and you’d be hard pressed to find 10 that could break 0.9G. (source, car and driver)
today there are at least 65 cars pulling over 1.08g (source https://fastestlaps.com/lists/top-grip-kings ) and
