Bart, That's A Bran Muffin

Binge-watched the season the last few days. Was gutted a bit by the third episode as well, "Exit Music (For a Film)" the perfect nail in the coffin at humanizing such a thing. Every one from there one has that stays-with-you quality.

Checked out Black Mirror based on the recommendations of this site, and it's been phenomenal. "San Junipero" and the two that follow are the three best in the season, if you haven't discovered that already.

I feel like Todd broke the fourth wall a bit in saying that he figured Bojack just gave Emily "one of your weird monologues about sadness".

I never knew he was a jerk, just one of those long-past-his-prime types who doesn't seem to realize it. Doesn't surprise me, though.

I was seated at my cousin's wedding reception with Chris Candy. Very nice guy, and the article is correct that both children strongly resemble their father. Chris is near identical to John, but thin and bearded.

Fair enough. Was just asking.

While I'm almost embarrassed to say (at least before explaining), I ended up watching Haters Back Off! on Netflix and actually enjoying it. The only real explanation warranted is the distinction between a somewhat and increasingly dramatic comedy about an aspiring YouTube celebrity and the hubris that comes with that,

Arguable. I doubt Dodgers-Blue Jays would have been a huge draw outside of their markets, sizeable as they are. Cubs-Indians is more of a national draw, even in those cities, as well as the Jays' national market north of the border - as the history isn't lost on us either - and the Jays and their fans don't have

I liked that it was built into a planet as well, but I was utterly beside myself to see them blow it up again, and in the first movie. I was sold on it being 100 times more powerful than the Death Star. They blew it up in one attack, just as easily.

Yeah, fair enough. It's hard to know what of the Chicago sports lore you mentioned is to actual fans as opposed to media affectation. not being from the area. People seem to have done a generally good job of leaving him alone, which is nice. I just wondered if that would be a worthwhile endeavour for either party, and

Oh, I agree entirely. He doesn't seem like the sort of fan who wants that sort of catharsis (and perhaps what would be more so to the fans) thrust upon him, and I completely respect that. From what I've heard of him, he's just a private person who still roots for the Cubs and successfully got back to that. If it had

It was. Bit was non-violent, at least. There was one guy aimlessly looking for a guy in a Bruins jersey. I went to Bonnaroo later that year, and there was a Bruins fan aimlessly looking for a guy in a Leafs jersey. That's about as bad as it got, from what I saw.

I've heard Steve Bartman's name mentioned a few times in recent weeks, and the idea of asking him to throw out the first pitch at Wrigley for the World Series. The consensus seemed to be that Bartman wouldn't be interested, and would rather be a low-profile fan and put all that ugliness behind him, regardless of the

I'll take it.

I saw the internet once. It's disgusting.

Owning the Denver Broncos is still a pretty big accomplishment.

Jays fan here, and seconded.

Thanks! Amassing a 4-0 lead and then managing to lose 5-4 is both a sign of talented hands on our part and a sincere return to form. They're the Leafs again. I like them.

Don't know if they have Forty Creek in the U.S., but apparently no one drinks Dr. Pepper in Canada except my half-American family and myself, so here's against a wall being built on the Canada-U.S. border. What do we call it? The Dr. Drumpf? Rum seems like a better mix for phonetic purposes. Some people hate Dr.

A few weeks ago, I finally discovered Bojack Horseman. I wasn't expecting to like it much, let alone find it one of the best shows I've seen in years. I'll have to pick up on the current comment threads when the fourth season comes out. It reminds me of Breaking Bad, and not just for Aaron Paul playing such a similar
