I mean, yes? Celebrating queerness is great, but Singer’s sexual abuse is perhaps not the expression of queerness that is worth celebrating?

I’m sorry, but where was the interiority? The bias? The perception?

It’s essentially Roshoman in Star Wars which is in the grand tradition of Star Wars ripping off Kurosawa ie The Hidden Fortress. I’m here for it but I understand why people who want everything obviously explained and take the words of villains as truth won’t. It personally think Mae’s master is in the background

So, presumably this is why the director of the episode was specifically chosen for this one... this was new information to me, having not been familiar with him (Kogonada) at all in looking up some of Jodie Turner-Smith’s past roles, I realized she had worked with Kogonada before and looking at him... given the Rasho

And yet another hint, lacking all details, that one can use the force to make a specific sort of pregnancy.   (here’s hoping that in some writer’s imagination it’s involving a “good time had by all”)

Nice to see something about this. I think this is right, and by the end we’ll get to see a fuller picture.

I’m on Fi and it’s not available. 5/5 update is the latest. I’d think I would be on the top of the list.

Daily Planet is on N Reeves Ave. Pretty cool call out to the man himself.

If Routh was gay, then he hasn’t come out yet.  He’s been married to Courtney for 17 years now.  Yeah, might be Bryan Singer that’s being thought about.

Red Dragon was ok, I also liked Money Talks (which is basically an R-rated spiritual prequel for Rush Hour).  But yeah not sure there’s any Ratner-heads out there, even most of his music video work was more Tier 2 level stuff.

This is your reminder that the song that’s being performed in the header image is friggin’ phenomenal and something perfect to listen to during Pride:

I love me some Brent Ratner films

Routh is gay.

Though I love me some Brent Ratner films, I 100% believe we dodged a speeding bullet with him not making a Superman movie.

Bomer shouldn’t have lost a role due to being who he is, but if he lost a role in a Brett Ratner movie, did he really lose anything at all?

This is awesome, considering that he’s a massive SF fan.

It’s definitely Richard E Grant. It has been confirmed by RTD.

I thought it was a fantastic, fun episode. Also, James are you not going to talk about mystery (Shalka?) Doctor???!!

Definitely got big “Captain Jack Harkness 2.0" vibes from Rogue - both are queer male characters played by gay American actors (or in Barrowman’s case, Scottish-American) who have time traveled and met the Doctor in “the past” and who clearly have morals a little more loose than the Doctor, but are ultimately heroes.
