Stanford is a private school.

“Having good players makes a team less impressive,” he said, secure in his genius.

Durant was specifically asked about this and his answer was “hell no.” He’d have ruled GSW out of his search if they’d won last year, and I see no reason to disbelieve him.

Man, is the word “almost” working hard here

More of a Coal Chamber look tbh

Thought this would be an article about the game’s atrocious hit detection and net code which aren’t even up to the standards of F2P shooters but uhhh I guess the cameras matter too.

It’s not like that because NFL players are under exclusive contracts. Kaepernick can’t decide to up and leave for a better offer if, to pick a random example, Andrew Luck goes down with an injury. He could only leave in the offseason, in which case who cares? They can find another backup.

You say this like Simmons was ever really devoted to writing as a craft. He wrote because that’s what you did in sports media back in the ‘90s, he started going on TV at ESPN because that’s what you did in sports media in the ‘00s, and now he’s doing podcasts because that’s what you do in sports media today.

Probably true but nobody gives a shit about the Angels sooooo

The Armored Core series; personal fave was AC2:AA

1) Lucio’s frog skins are cool and good
2) His soccer skins are also good
3) This one is bad

Is he wrong? That’s a hideous line drive, contested, from 28 feet. Wall makes that shot no more than 20% of the time (20% is generous). Sometimes bad shots go in and swing close games.

Not really, just colorful language.

I love to make games with horrible net code and hit detection, fill them with design and balance issues, then charge people $20M to play it for serious.

“Plan out what you’re doing to do before you trigger your ult” is a bit much to ask from the already sputtering brains of Gengo players

Mirka was a professional tennis player, so her abilities and talents almost certainly eclipse yours.

People hate Hanzo because Overwatch’s awful net code and hit detection have forced him into an autokill bot. You don’t so much hit people with Hanzo as allow the game to deliver you hits and naturally this breeds resentment. Personally I’m glad most Hanjos never switch and get absolutely plowed as a result.

“The only thing Oubre did wrong was letting him keep his teeth.”
This is a spectacular closing line from a dude who would collapse in a puddle of sweat from five seconds of actual fisticuffs.

I’m going to scamper out on a limb and guess most women would rather endure longer lines than unisex bathrooms at a hockey game.
