From my experience it does. I'm glad some people like it at least, it means Microsoft hasn't completely lost its mind. It had good features, I liked the better Skydrive integration and the new file explorer ribbon, and native iso mounting, love that. But for an OS which has done an extremely good job of letting people

I lol'd, good job :P

I really don't even know what to say anymore about Win8. I think it is going to suck for traditional pcs. It has a chance on tablets, which unfortunately is the one system I haven't tested it on. Oh well, not like I'm not going to install this tonight and see what changed at least. Maybe its more tolerable the 3rd

Do you realize how many people have jobs because of this boat? That is why.

Can't recall the details, but it has to do with fluid dynamics to reduce wake/drag.

This issue I had with this whole thing is that I didn't know my order went through until Saturday night, when it was way too late to do anything about it. I understand the risks of the price itself, but when the market can't even keep up with what is going on but is still happy to take your money, that pissed me off.

Funny because when gmail goes down world productivity slows, when Facebook goes down productivity increases.

How in the hell is that an Apple patent, my Windows Mobile device did that 6 years ago...

My first phone was one of the good ol Nokia bricks. I had snake and a phone book, I was happy. My family had several phones before that though, I think we even dug up one of the old bag phones when I helped my dad move a few years back. Knowing how expensive those were back then I'm amazed my dad paid for that, but he

Hmm, ordinarily I might knock a phone for launching without major features but I think I'd rather have it now then wait for the full Sprint LTE launch. Sprint 3g + WiFi is acceptable for me, for the time being at least. And major YES for the microSD slot!

Seems odd to partner with B&N when Amazon is practically next door and bigger. Although I will give them credit for at least partnering, another eBook store would not have added much benefit to the market.

727s are pretty darn old, and there's a ton of them in storage. I doubt it would cost much to get one flying long enough to crash it in the desert.

Ok so let me just say, from sitting in a telemtry room, yes some cell phones can cause interference with the radio. Will they crash the plane? No, they will probably not. But for god's sake, just shut the damn things off for the 10 minutes they ask you to. It is not the flight attendent's personal agenda against you,

Go talk to your Senators/Representatives, they control the budget.

Don't forget about student copies :)

Ask anyone how their iPhone 3g/3gs/4 does with Siri, oh wait, they don't have it...

I'm not saying I like the way it is, if a company suggests that my phone could get an upgrade I would absolutely want it. I'm just saying, they are not required to do anything so do not be surprised if it doesn't happen.

Is anyone surprised by this, seriously. None of the manufacturers can keep all of their phones on the latest OS, not even Apple. It is just not practical, if the development cost doesn't get in the way sometimes just the capabilities of the phone can't keep up. Buy your phone based on how it performs out of the box,

Did I see that right? They're putting out fires on the ship they're trying to sink? Wouldn't, I dunno, sinking it put out the fires!?

Yeah there may not be much of a difference in tests, but in soda at least, real sugar tastes way better to me than hfcs versions. (except Mountain Dew, can't really figure that one out) So for me the choice is easy.
