I think Hertz sales let’s you rent before you buy. So you get a 3 day test drive of the actual car you are considering and it’s free if you do end up buying

You’ll be fine. Move your daughter behind you in the booster seat and put the rear facing seat behind the passenger.

As a young father my kids spent their first three years in a Hyundai Excel. I don’t understand where people are coming from, thinking that automotive life + kids = SUV, van, something tall. It just doesn’t.  It’s like no one wants to bend over, ever.

i have small kids, a sedan with a big back seat and a big trunk is more than adequate. i don’t get the advantage of a taller vehicle in that respect. I don’t remember if the jetta back seat is smaller than a GTI, but our Jetta has a beast of a back seat and trunk.

Is it wrong to target different market desires, even if those markets fall along the lines of gender?

It’s because the video arbitrarily throws in a GT500 as the ICE comp, which weighs 4,100 lbs (the Taycan weighs 5,100). So basically this writer did zero research, doesn’t know what the Taycan’s actual competition is (hint: it’s not a Mustang) and nobody bothered to edit her article. Honestly, why do I still read this

Me, trying it in my F-150

TPMS is a required part that fails regularly in vehicles, offering this potential saftey issue. Cameras in Driver assist packages suffer from the same potentials you mention, yet they persist.

Good news for this old gal!

First off, get a lawyer cause the 40k payout is way too low for a 997 C4S cabrio (especially if it happens to be a 997.2). They should be paying you closer to 50k.

We come for the cars, and stay for the abuse :)

......A Porsche?

Annnd.... Lincoln wins decidedly.

I’m 54. When I was 19 my Dad and I built a 550hp 1973 Pontiac LeMans that I had purchased for $300. The first test drive was at 430am and I promptly got nailed doing 141 in a 55. Luckily I’m from a small town and the cop knew me because he went to high school with my Dad. I raced almost every weekend at the local drag

This hideous fish.

So much for being grounded to the ground

I think we’re far closer to solving nuclear fusion than convincing Karens to use the correct lane.

If a single piece of food was acquired from outside the car or if anyone peed outside the vehicle, there’s room for improvement. Seems like the pinnacle would be having some of those support people waiting at the pumps to fill your tank asap. Those pit stops COMPLETELY DESTROY YOUR PACE PLEASE JUST GET BACK IN THE CAR
