I've found the best way is to not disable it, but to turn all notifications off which still allows you to use system-level email sharing from your Gmail account but not have to deal with the notifications.

I just picked up a One-Touch Gold off Craigslist for $30, and absolutely love it! Picked up a new hinged grate, a cover and some hardwood charcoal and made some delicious steaks :-) I highly suggest the Weber charcoal grills over the cheaper offerings, they are better built and last a very long time if taken care of.
