Definitely invest in a good chef's knife and a decent bread knife (which also is used for slicing tomatoes quickly without destroying them). Add a paring knife and if you're like me and eat a lot of vegetables, a nice santoku or nakiri. That's all you'll need :-)

Exactly. Even though yes some editing features are a bit cryptic by virtue of no text annotations, it's still fairly easy to figure out. There's no way you're going to pick up an app of this scale and know how to do everything immediately.

The Navigon app is awesome, especially with the last update. I got it on sale for $19.99 so not bad at all considering the way it looks and operates.

Yeah I'd definitely be willing to do that as I never use the optical drive.
