I was thinking “and then there were 3.” Who will be next??

The breathy talk-singing thing gets a little tired after a couple of songs.
Hooray for Peggy Gou! She gets a ton of play in my house.
Not to mention most 83 year olds I know are somewhere on the spectrum of dotty and demented. I know plenty of people can age gracefully and keep active, etc, but I don’t ask any 83 year old for advice on how to live. So why would I want them deciding current social issues for me?
I’m really sorry you had to go through that.
Yes, but, if the comment is more than 1 line, you can’t read the whole comment before taking it out of the grays. Which sucks because trolls.
Thanks. I was a heavy smoker for about 6 years, and it just contributes to my anxiety and depression too much. I wish I could be an ‘every once in a while’ smoker, but I’m not good with that kind of self control. I know what you’re saying with the thc to cbd ratio, but once I start down that path, I would just keep…
Yes! And I just realized I worded my last comment poorly - back bends are not great for fusions! I meant to say straight torso poses like triangle, etc.
Be prepared for an inch thick stack of it at closing. Not to sign necessarily, but take home for your records. A little light reading for when you’re bored!
Victorian orphan cats!! Amazing. I hope it’s cooling off for you!
My pain is manageable most of the time, and I’m so used to it that I kind of forget it’s there sometimes. I’ll just be in a bad mood “for some reason” lol. I had the surgery 33 years ago; I’m 47. Core strengthening for the win! Non twisting and back bending poses like boat, triangle, plank are all super great.
Good luck! I know it might not be your solution, but I hope you find something that works. Being in constant pain is, well, a pain the ass.
This is true, and something I needed to be reminded of. Thank you!
So much to keep track of! Waaaay too much paperwork and to-do lists. This housing market is so nuts; you’re lucky you were able to find something that quickly!
I just thought of something- have you ever had the length of your legs checked, or had a foot doctor check your arches and gait? Along with my back issues, my feet overpronate. Getting orthotic insoles a couple years ago was a life saver! When you have fallen arches and/or your feet roll inwards, your femurs rotate…
Mine is basically all of my thoracic spine, down to about L3. I’m sorry you had to get one too! Do you have problems or pain with it?
I hear ya. The pool where I was going closed last March and hasn’t reopened yet. All of my lottery fantasies involve putting a hot tub and lap pool in my backyard.
That is adorable! Also it looks just like our cat.
Thank you! And that’s great advice! It’s so crazy how we’re (by which I mean me) conditioned to believe that success is tied to goodness and being deserving.
Thanks Corporal. And I really appreciate your advice and story! It’s so easy to forget that my problems are not unique. I grew up being very ashamed of them and not telling anyone anything, ever. So it’s always great to read about other people’s problems and how they solve them. I think it’s some of the most valuable…
