Well my online psych studies have told me he’s a deeply insecure narcissist and failure for him equals deep, deep humiliation. Competing schools I suppose.

I don’t think he’s capable of shame. But humiliation, yes. He just misdirects with lies and whining to hide it.

It would be one step further along his road to abject humiliation that I will be here for.

Well that shows my bias against rednecks; I’ve lived around many. Eastern NC has no shortage of them, for sure.

I had a someone similar situation with one of my brothers. Standing up to him was what cured it. Bullies are cowards at heart.
