The current slate of The Root writers have been flacking for Will Smith’s team so hard that their damn brains fell out. Danielle Belton’s old team would have never published an article like this, never mind the weak one-source journalism.

I will never understand people who prefer silent protagonists...

Nothing takes me out of a game’s world more than some monumental shit happening and the main character just standing there in an idle animation.

“Here’s some free stuff” “Oh I have to have the app installed for one day to get it? PASS

“I made this account just to push back against people who are complaining about the obvious racist reacton to some fantasy shows. I’m totally not racist, and in fact, YOU PEOPLE are the REAL racists for calling everyone who disagrees with you racist! I don’t een care about this. I’m actually laughing.

Woke Hollywood turning our Hulks into She-Hulks!

Trolls are annoyed they cast a woman as She-Hulk?

Oh my God, you guys are so fragile and incapable of accepting criticism. Instead of looking in the mirror, you instead reflexively call all critics "racist". What an intellectual crutch. Never have to think for yourself, or improve your perspective. Nope, just cast all who doubt as evil racists. Meanwhile you guys

Watching She-hulk doesn’t require note-taking or reference material.

This is honestly crazy to me. I mean, I’m liking She Hulk a whole lot, but I’m not sure if I’d bet on any D+ show beating either of these flagship fantasy series, and yet here we are.

It’s funny that the prequels to the two most popular fantasy franchises came out at roughly the same time and both enraged racists by casting black people.

This retro-casting of Mulaney as a “wife guy” confuses me because the first time I remember him mentioning his wife was when he was explaining that they finally got married because she kept complaining about it. Then he compared marrying her to buying a cow for five minutes.

And Ryan Reynold’s brand is built around him

Oh, a person at the top was able to ignore problems at the bottom.

Boy, hard to imagine that backfiring spectacularly. If only there were numerous examples of social media sites turning into absolute sewers thanks to “free speech” from which we could learn...

The three of them at a bar on a weeknight for pub trivia, not winning, only drinking

No, because then we’d have to acknowledge that parents exist on Sora’s home world, when they clearly don’t.

The funny thing about this is that Disney is doing a movie with this premise called Disenchanted which is part of the Enchanted franchise and supposed to be Disney self-parodying itself.

Kingdom Hearts IV:  The Disney adult years

Now that the series is 20 years old, can Sora be a disillusioned 34-year-old father who has to balance work, parenting and going out with his best buds Donald and Goofy?

Understandable, a lot of it definitely does seem like Nomura throwing crazy shit at a wall and seeing what sticks. I still love it personally but the story isn't as important to me as the gameplay and characters themselves so it's a bit easier for me to enjoy.
