True, I always suspected most jalops were fake car enthusiasts. Mostly techy guys who like to read about cars at their IT jobs, but don’t really ever drive or own fun cars.

I do love my Sol GXP. To me, the Sky is just a Sol with a body kit. Love the one you’re with...

He may not but I have. And the top of the regular range of 3-series cars makes more sense as a convertible. My uniquely orange 330ci with M bits is far more missed than the later blue M3. That car and a follow up 335ci Coupe lead me directly to the simple pleasures of a Mustang.

No, that is for making speed holes, not intake vents. Amateur!

Thought about that, too. It would probably work better, actually, as these holes are oblong.

Please take this Photoshopped offering to slake your thirst

No one cares, Figgis. You’re only here to round out the numbers.

Serve from the left. Sullen wench.

They did, in fact, make just such a thing: the Toyota Carina 1800 GT Twin Cam Turbo...because it was the 80's and you needed stickers that said all of that on the doors.

LMAO, thank you Toni, as I was reading the article, I had to read through my fingers because I had my face in my palm the entire time. How did this website allow someone so obviously oblivious to how these things worked write for them?? It’s like on Facebook when Ford announced they would be using QNX/BlackBerry

No doubt, this is poor journalism/reporting/blogging. Michael’s irrelevant defense after being confronted about the topic throughout the comment section just makes it worse.

I don’t think he’s trying to back it up with false info, he just doesn’t understand how it all works.

Michael, it looks like you’re moving the goalposts here; trying to recast your argument as one for standards-based versus proprietary infotainment OSes in cars. I came here to post the same thing Toni did — except for the negative opinion of BB10; I mostly like it — because I have exactly the same take on your

No kidding, I get that the turnaround for some of these articles can be tight, but it’s nuts how off base Michael was here. It’s not that his opinions are incorrect, he’s not even talking about the right or relevant thing here.
