I know chassis code wise it’s a new generation, but I always thought this generation and the 2nd generation from 2003 are almost mechanically similar. Wheelbase and such are practically unchanged unlike the 1st gen.
But aside from the Sienna, are there any other minivan options if one wants AWD?

I actually fly from elsewhere into Canada primarily these days, and don’t even enter the US anymore with it ever since the Canadian dollar isn’t par anymore, lol.
I don’t know about the US but most of the international airport hubs up here have an enrollment centre. Toronto is like 2 hours away from the border so most people go to the airport.
And if you’re a frequent traveler (even just a few times a year) spring for TSA Pre (or Global Entry if you anticipate traveling out of the country in the next few years — it comes with TSA Pre). You never have to remove your liquids, laptop, or your shoes when you fly and it’s infinitely worth the $75 price tag…
