MSG special?!

wheelbase issues?

Jonny likes 'drag'.

Race driver is tough. Seen too many really talented guys who just don't have the cash/sponsors and it looks really depressing. TV auto journalism isn't as good as it looks, either. The best job in the world, for me, is my current one: writing about new cars. You get time to think, and really drive. Also pretend that

I had an 80s Pontiac Parisienne Wagon that I stuck four pumps and 8 batts in. And 15-inch 100-spoke wires. I think it was the only 'wallpaper woodie' lowrider in the world. Mean three-wheel. Bit big for the UK, but I loved it.

Sorry, Standard GT with Track pack. I drove it from Seattle to Ketchikan in Alaska and then back to Vegas. Had a lot of potential.

I have someone writing the replies for me ...

Oof. Tough one. I'm deeply into classic trucks and vans (we just didn't get that stuff in the UK). But I've also got a huge soft-spot for late '70s boats. I know not hugely popular, but I love the confidence of them. Late '70s Lincoln Continental with that weird half-leather roof thing? What was it called? Also,

Hurrah! A troll. Hello, how are you?

1) I don't work for either of them. I have worked near them both! Needles is scarier to be in a car with. JC has always been absolutely brilliant to me.

Jeff! The silent wonder.

Yeah, it's rubbish. We might not always have the cars finished as we imagine them initially (we really do run out of time, especially on things like paint jobs), but the second half of the show would be pretty damn dull if we didn't have cars. Generally though, they're runners when we buy them, so the mods are just

I've only drive the V8 with Track Pack, and it had the potential. New indie rear end makes a huge difference.

Can I just explain that Jonny also got his Summit Racing carbs sent back from the airport because they stank of gas… and he had them in hand luggage.

I've only drive the V8 with the Track Pack and it felt like it had the potential. That new indie rear end makes a huge difference. I only did about 3000miles in it though.

Adrenalin-spikes, my friend. Do it right and that '9-11' seconds can be pretty life-affirming. I'm a pretty broad church - anything and everything floats my boat: from lows to drag, JDM to Kidnap vans. Not overly keen on MPVs.

I want to make the Jag into a Panamericana-style rally racer, and avoid going in the Flux.

Well, Jonny's the car-magpie (he has about twelvty-three). I test for TopGear Magazine, so drive a lot of different stuff. But I have an old XJ that I bought so that I could work n something rubbish, a Merc C-class as a family wagon, and I smoke about in a Range Rover Sport at the moment. I look like a third-division

I will say two words, Ferris: Geo Metro.

Well, contrary to popular opinion, I managed to have 17 breaks, dislocations or fractures in my right leg in that one. So it was basically meat-paste foot. I can now feel electrical storms in my toes. And the last three don't move any more… which has been less of a issue than I thought.
