If I remember correctly, Seinfeld tells him “don’t worry” to which Rock responds “nope, I’m still black.”

I realize you are probably joking about the 4.2, but sadly I think 4 liters is the displacement for the current engine design. It’s been at maximum bore for a while already, and now it can’t be stroked any further. There’s some tweaks that could bring it closer to the ~550 hp of the race motor.

This show is massively underrated for how well it shoots the cars. Most automotive reality shows don’t present cars so perfectly. The angles, the sounds, the sparkles, action shots that somehow don’t require burnouts and drifting to make you appreciate a car’s awesomeness. And Seinfeld’s commentary is usually spot on.

The 911 sold its soul with the new generation

It’s all small tubes.  A hacksaw would work better, really.

So, a Boxster with a less practical roof and a better engine?

Rental Malibus are some of the fastest cars on this planet. I’ve never pushed the brakes of a car to failure except in a rental Malibu (literally so much brake fade that I had to downshift to slow down).

I’ve created this handy flowchart.....just to help with events this year

You aren’t in the minority.

I seem to be in the minority but i have always found the i8 to be a really good looking car. Used to be several in my Denver neighborhood and i loved them. Looked particularly good in deep blue, imo. Good luck!

After I get sick of fixing my BMW 850 I am thinking of getting a current generation i8. Depreciation is brutal with multiple low mileage examples available, performance is “Good Enough” design is polarizing and they are relatively rare.

Covid-i9

This. Plus the convertibles for the 996 go for less than the coupes. And the automatic (tip-tronics) for even less. So he’ll have all the choices going for him.

That’s the reason I would buy this, and I would buy it immediately.  Terrestrial radio sucks.

BT wouldn’t really be for talking in an old sports car, it’s so you can link your phone to the stereo for the sake of blasting sweet jams. I personally enjoy having The Budos Band join me when on a nice mountain road.

While the price is high, I don’t hate the idea of modern functionality in a vintage space.

Wait, we don’t have to click through a list of 2 teams?

I finally made it to the comment section but I’ve forgotten what the question was.

In a fight between a soft, family-friendly pibble and a mean, hungry urban-Philly woodchuck, I’m taking the woodchuck. Dog’s lucky the door was there.
