Well, they still send you hourly emails and then call you three times a day to ask if you’re going to buy the car (many times even AFTER you’ve bought the car) - but you can ignore most of those things, and you are correct that not sitting in the dealership makes things easier.

I don’t disagree, I wasn’t talking about modern standards....but comparing to similar cars of that era.

I assume you were in a mkI GTI. I had a mkII 1990 GTI which was a pretty solid compact car compared to other small cars of that era. The redesign in 1988 beefed up the door and dashboard reinforcements,it was anything but flimsy.

Looks like a real shit show.

While I love my 986, the 981 is the sweet spot right now.

Aren’t the Sport functions (only) on the wheel for 718? Or is that only w/Sport Chrono?

It’s a GTS and still has five blanks???  Come on, where are the options???

If only there was another way to let people know you have a new model coming out, and to release all the details and pictures and specs. And have them look at the car in 3D and change the color and interior.....

Not really removable, but are mounted/tethered to the outside concrete wall.

Still odd that all the pictures refer to the turn as ‘completed’ though maybe they are just talking about the racing surface/banking.
