It’s like a little bit of the CGT, and a little bit of the 911 GT1.

Keep in mind those payments (especially the constructors points fees) are based on some of the payouts....which are not trivial.

I generally dislike anything non-stock, especially some of the overdone Gemballa designs (like the above).

Interesting article on how they used 3D printing to accelerate the design and build process.

There’s a livestream on the website as well. Not sure if the ROC will be streamed, but eROC is on now, and Nations Cup is next.

Ferrari 250 Europa

Wow....this picture is just......so many seams and angles....looks like a kit car with really bad-fitting panels.

If you’re in the market for a 2020 911 in 2035 and worried about the electronic parts, find one that hasn’t sat outside for fifteen years, but instead was garaged for most of its life.

Same as the existing model...you would manually pull out the handle and use the spare key to open the door.

This is the problem with the internet. We already know whats going to happen two series in advance.  I too was confused about this until I researched it a while back.

1st Gear: That worked out well the first time.

Kinda looks like a front engine 987 Cayman, or the next-gen Toyota 86.

‘alive’ was a mistake or auto-correct. He calls her ‘Olive girl’

Due to the fact that the PDK can’t miss a shift or over-rev, it’s a very durable transmission as long as it’s serviced properly.  If/when it goes, it’s $18k for a new one, less for rebuilt.

I kinda like the grey on red, almost has an R8 feel to it. On the other hand, it reminds me of this...

It looks like this is an ‘84 911 SC RS, of which only 20 were made.

The 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally was won by a 911 SC, albeit a heavy modified one with AWD. The 911 SC RS 4x4 (aka the 953) was the precursor to the Group B 959. Only three exist.

An hour and twenty minute delay and they cancel the game?  Wow.  I’ve sat through longer Kinja/Deadspin outages.
