Since the car was never driven, I’ll assume it was a lawyer that purchased it. A lawyer that knows how to void a contract...

The Judge did rule in Mecum’s favor, that we could sell this car.

As soon as I saw the headline I said “Oh boy, here we go.....”

In addition to the no frills products, we often had ‘made milk’. Powdered milk that my mother ‘made’ with water.

That has to be a joke. If not, I hope Scott Baio owns stock in the company.

The ‘No Frills’ soda was awful (Pathmark?), as was the spaghetti sauce and pasta. My brother called it ‘Cardboard and warm Ketchup’ night.

Haven’t seen the ‘No Frills’ brands in years , but in Canada there are still yellow label ‘No Name’ products.

When I say first, I don’t mean #00001, but the first that has been sold by a private owner....it was the John Cena car that started all the Ford legal stuff.

While I agree with you, the profit on these is way more than 3-10%.....they sold new for $500k and the first one went for $2.5 million at auction (albeit for charity, so it may have been slightly inflated).

The car is also the lead image on the Hollywood Wheels FB page, so they must know the owner.

Those pictures were taken outside Hollywood Wheels near Tampa, FL.....so I would assume the owner lived nearby. (The Mecum Auction is in Indy)

Nah, gotta go widebody.

...madhouse...

It’s $1000 a day because no one is driving them.

What stigma?

They will make GT4 versions. Because money.

Starting with the latest generation, they standardized ‘718' as the model number, with Boxster and Cayman being variants. But they have always had the same internal Porsche numbering (987/981/982).

Now playing

In fake life (Assetto Corsa) the LM-spec 919 easily does sub 5:50 times around the ring.

Whenever Aston Martin stopped offering them as an option.

I meant the trend of 400 pictures on new posts....I’ve only noticed it recently.
